Welcome To the
Photo Series Workshops |
| |
The Photo Series Workshops combine classroom and
hands-on field time to create the most comprehensive set of photography
workshops and photo tours you are liable to find.
The workshops and photo tours are designed to
expand your knowledge of photography and take you from your current level
of knowledge to the next. We focus on tried-and-true photo
techniques and composition that helps you to achieve a professional level
of competence.
|
| Photo Tours |
|
These tours are not
high stress... in fact, they can be quite relaxing.
While it is true, we start early and end late, we cram a lot
of learning and techniques into the days, and our goal is to
take you to whole new levels of photography - we all tend to
enjoy ourselves. We share experiences and get to know
one another, we see new and interesting sights, and in the
end, have memories and high quality photos to share with our
friends and families (or add to our stock and fine art
catalogs in the case of the photographer). |
| |
| Workshops: |
We
offer a wide range of general and specialized photography
workshops that are geared to different skill levels.
While these workshops are very fast paced, they are created in
such a way that you will be able to remember and put into
practice what you have learned. Best of all, we are
adding to them all the time.
Not only do we have general photography workshops to
take the beginner from snapshots to high quality photographs,
we have specialized workshops geared toward specialized fields
of photography. For examples: The Boy Scout Photo Badge
for Boy Scouts, Story Telling for photojournalists,
missionaries, and others who want to learn to tell a complete
story with their camera, Nature photography, Travel
Photography, and many more. |

In General:
While everyone is welcome to any workshop or tour, the fact
is, some may be to advanced for beginners and others to basic
for advanced students. Check out the information page to
help determine the skill level we are addressing. Keep
in mind, our goal is to challenge you to progress to a higher
level of skills. |

Our Location |
|
We are located in Wolf Creek, OR., a
little town about 20 miles North of Grants Pass. This puts us
about midway between the Rogue River area and the Umpqua and
Siskiyous Mountains
where there are over 78 waterfalls and massive amounts of scenic
trails to explore. Across the street from us is the Historic
Wolf Creek Tavern Inn where we often house our out of town guests. |

|
| The Working Pro: |
|
As a professional, we tend to
get so advanced that we quit paying attention to the basics.
While we talk about advanced techniques in the photo tours,
the fact is, we also focus on the important elements that got
us to where we are - the basics. And, if you are open to
sharing, the beginners in the group will challenge you in ways
that are sure to bring your techniques and skills to a new
level. |
| |
| The Beginner: |
|
For the beginner, you not only learn the
basics, you get to see the professionals in the group put them
to work. In most cases, the working professionals will
gladly share with you the reasons behind their decisions.
You will have the opportunity to have your work critiqued and
discussed by your peers. The benefits to these tours are
beyond the scope of this site, but let me assure you - you
will walk away with a knowledge of photography that you never
thought you could achieve in such a short amount of time. |
